Scalable Network Technologies Inks QualNet Distribution Agreement with Pitotech in Taiwan

Los Angeles, California USA—April 11, 2003—Scalable Network Technologies, Inc. (SNT), the developer of QualNet software, announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Pitotech Company Limited of Chang Hua City, Taiwan. Both partners in the agreement specialize in the simulation of communication systems. Pitotech will resell QualNet and provide support to QualNet customers in Taiwan. "SNT chose Pitotech to distribute QualNet because they understand network simulation and the return on investment it can generate," said Dirk Eastman, Vice President of Sales for SNT. "The market in Taiwan is receptive to QualNet because of Asia's leadership in the development and adoption of networking technologies. The SNT-Pitotech partnership is an important step to advance SNT's penetration and support structure in Taiwan and the rest of Asia."

QualNet's wireless simulation capabilities include WiFi (802.11a and b), cellular GSM, satellite, and mobile ad hoc networks. The company also offers wired network models, including but not limited to Voice over IP, Quality of Service including MPLS, and Cisco device models.
